Anchor Point, Sheffield

In conjunction with Bolsterstone’s sister company Urbo and partner Magellan, the redevelopment of a 4 acre site close to the Sheffield United football ground was completed in 2007.

The Anchor Point project entailed the complete redevelopment of a former timber yard and offices, situated on Bramall Lane, Sheffield, into residential units and 5,000sq.ft of offices and retail units

The owner of the property, a timber merchants, delivered a brief to create value from the site, which would enable the Timber Merchant to relocate to new, modern premises away from the City Centre.

Bolsterstone negotiated the principle of the content of the project with Sheffield City Council and then worked with the design team to gain a detailed planning consent for a mixed use scheme.

Anchor Point now comprises 188 highly desirable residential apartments, 12 family houses, Grade A office accommodation together with retail uses.
